Amy Ho has been practicing law in the State of Illinois since 2005. Starting off in a firm located in the northwest suburbs, Amy has served as lead counsel on several family cases litigated in Cook, Lake, McHenry, and DuPage counties. She understands the issues and emotional complexity in having a blended family of her own. She is also well-versed in residential real estate transactions and has general knowledge of evictions and forcible detainers, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and minor traffic infractions. She continues to practice with her maiden name.
Amy also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Lake County for children in the judicial system due to abuse and/or neglect. Appointed by a Juvenile Court Judge, CASAs serve as the eyes and ears of the court by submitting reports and making recommendations that is believed to be the best interest of the children.
